The apple festival

We went to the apple festival at Beasley's Orchard in Danville on Sunday. It was soooo hot. Sofi went on her first hay ride. She got to learn that apples grow on trees. We decided to just go on the hay ride and then pick up a pumpkin in the store. It was way to hot to scour the pumpkin patch in the sun. We had pork burgers, fried biscuts and apple butter. Later we had lemon shake ups. I guess we broke a record for high temperature on this day of the year. It was 90 degrees. All in all it was fun. I was hoping for some good fall pictures of the kids. They were great except for the sweaty red faces. Enjoy the pictures. Fall is my favorite time of year.
