Eli Update

Well this one is well over due! With a new baby in the house and FarmTown as a distraction I haven't Blogged in awhile. So here is what happened in the last 2 months.

Eli is now 3 months old. It has been a little rough road. Thank goodness we are sharing this experience with the Chambers family (Eli's Papa). Chelsea and Michael alternate overnights so they can sleep every other night. Then we get him two days in a row since the week is an odd number. Chelsea and Michael have done an amazing job of being patient with a colicky baby. As of May 18 we have guardianship which allowed us to get health insurance as of May 29th and we took Eli to the doctor. He had thrush and we discussed his spitting up and fussy issues. Eli started a probiotic to help his tummy and antibiotic for his thrush. He is now happier most of the time until he spits up which is frequent and at least once a day empties his stomach content. This upsets him as I think it would anyone.

Eli is smiling and cooing. And is VERY handsome. Eli likes to be on his tummy with daddy and he loves to sleep with mommy holding him. Eli likes talking to all of us. All of the aunts and uncles (Sofi, Jacob, Melody, Matthew, Mitchell, and Madeline) love him to death and he is always being enjoyed by someone. And of course there are the frequent vistis by great grandparents.

I am sure he has said "Mama" several times if she is not there and I always tell him where she his and he stops saying it. Crazy or not he's done it at least 3 times in the last week.
