Update for all

Happy Easter everyone.  I will try to get Easter pictures very soon after tomorrow.  Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  I had a muscle spasm one week and was sick another.  I have been doing good keeping the house together and not missing too much work.

New stuff:
Jacob loves his new guitar.  He wanted it at Christmas and it went on back order for 2 months so the poor child did not get his gift until almost February.  Well here it is.   Worth waiting for according to Jacob.

Chelsea is continuing art lessons and loves them.  I have put in a picture of her sculpture of a person.  Also she is making friendship bracelets.  I did that when I was her age.  It sure brings back memories.  She has also bought her first pair of skinny jeans (see photo).  I wore "skinny" jeans forever, I guess I was stuck in my era, eighties I think and she made fun of me.  Well I finally got with it and bought the boot legs  about a year ago (I think these were called bell-bottoms in the sixties).  I was just getting use to those and now "skinny" jeans are in.  Well my body is a lot bigger then it was in the eighties so I might take a long time switching back.  This time around they are skinny/tight all over not just on the bottom.  It is so funny how trends change.  Also notice in the pictures Chelsea's hair is blue now.  So far we have been pink, purple and blue.  Chelsea tells me she plans to color her hair like this into her nineties so she can be the cool grandma.

Sofi's latest is being a fairy.  She likes to wear a skirt that can twirl, wings, and a spaghetti strap shirt and if she is not too hot she will wear panty hose.  Notice in the second picture she is trying to wink.  Daddy showed her how to do that.  Sofi can actually wink much better then I could capture in the picture.  She also is getting more interested in coloring pictures and staying in the lines and in letters.  I have some pictures of her easter picture.  All by herself, I was not even aware she was doing it she wrote "3Sfoi"  (the number is because she is three).  I about fell over.  We have done some writing but I had no idea she could do that.

We colored eggs and this year she had a ball.  I forgot to get a picture of the mess but I did take some photos of her favorite eggs.

This week we also got a new chair.  The old one was beginning to be unsafe to sit in.  This is big news.  I think it is only the second time we have bought a piece of furniture.  We usually have hand me downs.  I almost don't feel right going and picking something out at a store.  Everyone loves the chair and fights over who's turn it is to sit in it.  So I guess it was a success.

Our pet rat past away this week.  She was getting old and uncomfortable so everyone dealt with it well.  We all wanted her to stop suffering.  "Shadow" was a good little rat.  Sofi did well she would say "she'll be back in awhile"  then after explaining to her that shadow would not be back she was in heaven.  Sofi would just repeat "yep she won't be back"  I don't think Sofi has even mentioned it since that day.

Well that is all for now.  Sorry about the long post but I guess a lot has happened in three weeks.
