Well here is the latest. Chelsea who is 13 had her friend over. When I got home from work, Chelsea was in her bedroom and the friend was in the living room at the computer. I asked Chelsea why they weren't hanging out. I thought maybe they had a fight or something. She explained they were hanging out, because they were instant messaging each other as they emailed other friends. I think my jaw hit the floor. Things certainly HAVE changed since I was a teen. When I had friends over I actually used my mouth to talk with them but apparently that is not always necessary these days.
Other news:
Chelsea loves photography and plays around with the camera quite a bit. I personally think she has a great eye and the art teacher agrees. She has an opportunity to sell some of her work in a couple of weeks through a friend's mom who happens to have a booth at a local craft fair. So we have been choosing, printing, matting and pricing a few items. I am soooo proud of her 3)
